RiseMove — AI Coach ("RiseMove," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the RiseMove mobile application.

By using RiseMove, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Your first name, username, and optional profile photo that you provide during onboarding.
• Fitness Activity Data: GPS routes, distance, duration, pace, and sport type recorded during tracked activities.
• Apple Health Data (with your permission): Heart rate, sleep data, active energy, steps, and workout records from Apple HealthKit.
• Strava Data (if connected): Activity history, distance, duration, and route data imported from your Strava account via the Strava API.
• Usage Data: Activity history, readiness scores, streak data, and coaching interaction logs stored to personalize your experience.
• Social Data: Friends connections, activity feed posts, and reactions you make within the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Calculate your daily Readiness score and deliver personalized AI coaching recommendations from Hank.
• Track and display your fitness activities, routes, and progress over time.
• Enable the Friends feed so you can share activities and see friends' workouts.
• Improve the accuracy of coaching by combining GPS, Strava, and Apple Health data.
• Send you daily check-in notifications and recovery alerts if you have enabled them.
• Process and manage your Premium subscription.

3. Apple Health Data

We do not sell, share, or use Apple Health data for advertising purposes. Apple Health data is never used to train AI or machine learning models. All HealthKit data processing occurs on your device wherever possible.

4. Strava Data

If you choose to connect Strava, RiseMove imports your recent activity history to display your rides, runs, and workouts in the app. We use Strava data solely to enhance your coaching experience within RiseMove.

We do not sell Strava data to third parties. We comply with the Strava API Agreement. You may disconnect Strava at any time from your Profile settings, which will stop further data import.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account and activity data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Apple Health data is processed on-device wherever possible and is not stored on our servers.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating the app (hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements.
• With other RiseMove users only for features you explicitly activate, such as posting to your Friends feed.
• If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• In connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case the acquirer must honor this Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and update your profile information at any time from the Profile tab.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at paul@risemoveapp.com.
• Disconnect Strava or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time through your device settings.
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings.
• Request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

RiseMove is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of RiseMove after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
