Overview
RiseMove™ — AI Coach (“RiseMove™,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have when using the RiseMove™ mobile application, website, and related services.
RiseMove™ is a fitness and movement guidance app. RiseMove™ is not a medical app, is not a medical device, and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
1. Information We Collect
Contact information
We may collect your name, email address, username, profile name, and support contact details if you create an account, set up a profile, request support, or use features that require account identification.
Account and identifiers
We may collect a user ID, account ID, profile identifier, device identifier, session identifier, or similar identifier to operate your account, preferences, movement history, app settings, and related functionality.
Health, fitness, and movement information
RiseMove™ may collect fitness and exercise-related information, including activity type, workouts, walks, runs, rides, swims, gym sessions, recovery activities, distance, duration, pace, route information, readiness-related inputs, recovery-related inputs, energy or fatigue inputs, exercise plans, movement history, and related activity data.
Usage data
We may collect product interaction data such as app launches, screens viewed, taps, onboarding progress, feature usage, activity tracking events, coaching interactions, and similar information about how users interact with the app.
Diagnostics
We may collect crash data, performance data, error logs, device type, operating system version, app version, launch time, and related diagnostic information to improve reliability, fix bugs, and maintain performance.
User content
RiseMove™ may allow users to create, save, or share activity-related content, including activity summaries, notes, posts, photos, reactions, comments, profile details, and other content shared with other RiseMove™ members.
2. Apple Health, HealthKit, Motion, and Fitness Data
If you allow access to Apple Health, HealthKit, Motion and Fitness, or similar device-based data, RiseMove™ may access health, fitness, and activity-related data such as workouts, steps, active energy, heart rate, sleep, route data, distance, duration, pace, and related movement metrics that you choose to permit.
Apple Health and fitness data are used only to support app functionality, including Today Signal guidance, activity history, movement recommendations, recovery-related insights, and coaching features.
- We do not sell Apple Health data.
- We do not use Apple Health data for advertising.
- We do not use Apple Health data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We do not use Apple Health data to train AI models.
- You can revoke Apple Health and fitness permissions at any time through your device settings.
3. Location Data
If you use live activity tracking, route recording, walking, running, cycling, or similar location-based features, RiseMove™ may collect precise or approximate location data from your device. Location data is used to record activities, display routes, calculate distance, support movement tracking, and provide relevant movement guidance.
RiseMove™ does not use location data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. You can disable location permissions through your device settings, but some activity tracking features may not work properly without location access.
4. Hank™ and AI Processing
Hank™ is RiseMove™’s movement coach feature. When you use Hank™, relevant account, activity, readiness, recovery, movement, preference, and conversation information may be processed to generate coaching-style responses and explanations.
Hank™ responses are generated to support general fitness and movement guidance. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional judgment.
We do not sell Hank™ conversation data. We do not use Apple Health data to train AI models. Where third-party service providers are used to operate AI, hosting, analytics, diagnostics, or support features, they are used to provide and improve RiseMove™ services, subject to applicable contractual and technical safeguards.
5. Activity Sharing, User Content, and Community Safety
RiseMove™ may allow you to share activity-related content with other members, such as completed activities, posts, comments, photos, reactions, routes, summaries, or profile information. You control what you choose to share through available app features.
Content you choose to share may be visible to other users depending on your sharing settings and app features. Do not share personal, sensitive, private, unsafe, or confidential information through activity sharing features unless you are comfortable with that information being visible to others.
To support community safety, RiseMove™ may provide content reporting, user blocking, filtering, moderation, removal, and account restriction tools. You may report concerns through in-app tools where available or by contacting paul@risemoveapp.com.
6. Information We Do Not Currently Collect
RiseMove™ does not currently collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, credit scores, income, assets, debts, phone contacts, address book data, emails or text messages from your device, browsing history outside the app, advertising data, environment scanning data, hand tracking data, head tracking data, or biometric identifiers unless a feature is added in the future and clearly disclosed.
RiseMove™ does not intentionally collect sensitive information such as racial or ethnic data, sexual orientation, pregnancy or childbirth information, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions, genetic information, or biometric data unless you voluntarily include such information in content you submit.
7. How We Use Information
- Create, authenticate, and manage your account.
- Provide Today Signal guidance and movement recommendations.
- Track and display fitness activities.
- Support Hank™ coaching-style guidance.
- Enable optional sharing features when you choose to use them.
- Improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Respond to support, privacy, safety, or deletion requests.
- Maintain safety, security, integrity, and compliance.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with advertisers. We may share information only in limited circumstances: with service providers who help operate, host, maintain, analyze, or improve the app; with other RiseMove™ users when you choose to share activity content; when required by law or legal process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or in connection with a business transfer where the receiving party is required to honor this Privacy Policy.
9. Tracking and Advertising
RiseMove™ does not currently use collected data to track users across other companies’ apps or websites. RiseMove™ does not currently collect advertising data or sell user data to advertisers. If advertising, paid promotions, affiliate products, subscriptions, sponsored content, or other paid offerings are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated as required.
10. Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide RiseMove™ services, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain security. When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or aggregate it.
After an account deletion request, some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, legal records, safety records, or de-identified analytics where permitted or required.
11. Your Choices
- Access or update account and profile information where available in the app.
- Delete your account in the app or request deletion by email.
- Revoke Apple Health permissions through device settings.
- Disable location permissions through device settings.
- Disconnect third-party integrations such as Strava where available.
- Disable notifications through device settings.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal data.

12. Children’s Privacy
RiseMove™ is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to RiseMove™, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, by email, or by posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of RiseMove™ after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
